Recently, I decided to do something a little different than I normally do when posting to Twitter and response was growing for what I was posting, but they weren't too happy with me for doing so. So, my account was suspended. Don't worry. I am back. But, I'm not going to be posting the same thing to them again. I hate creating new accounts, although it is a necessary evil. So, now I'm using this avenue, my blog, to post content that matches exactly what I've been talking about this whole time. The how-to's or ins and out's of social media and how it can help you to create a marketing campaign or even an empire, i.e. Walmart, Best buy, etc.
But, first things first. You've been doing your research to find out what your customers need through use of keyword analyzing. Once you found that, you got into a niche that you think you could improve and hopefully make some money with. Then, you decided what you wanted for a website and either used a template, created it yourself, or paid someone else to do it for you. Great. now comes the tricky part.
Search Engine Optimization
When you think about SEO, the first thing that comes to mind is that it's going to be difficult and what the hell am I talking about. Well, without your site being found in the search engines, how are you going to be able to have it found by customers who need your product? What's your plan? SEO. Changing the keywords in meta tags works pretty good, but it's not the be all end all of SEO. there's more to it. that's why I started talking about creating articles about your product(s). When you go to a site like HubPages or Squidoo, this is not to be taken lightly. People go to these places to find out good information. If you can supply them with the right info and backlink to your site, then you have produced a possible customer. Backlinking is done by you linking everything, including that HubPage or Squidoo back to your money site. Whatever product you're promoting, it's important for you to have backlinking.
Another thing, using Facebook, Twitter, and other forms of social media will help you with backlinking, but you can't do what I just tried yesterday (direct linking to a product). So, going by past experiences, i knew it was not right to do, but I tried it and failed. Trust me. You have to try different ideas to link stuff before you'll know what really works for you. Any kind of blog posts you make will also help. Just make sure you do the necessary backlinking and this will help you to create that market and increase your ranking, which means more possible revenue for you to work with.
